Can you imagine world where every child in poor trophical Africa or anywhere else in the world can get access to human knowledge in the form of ebooks that can be read on average mobile phone which supports Java? Imagine that those kids can now access library with thousands and thousands of books in Gutenberg Project library, textbooks, medical books, science, agriculture, crafts, anything possible…
Imagine how many Einsteins and Rembrants now live in some far away place without possibility to add their knowledge to the world AND get benefits that knowledge offers?
Now we are step closer I feel.
Project Gutenberg is working on providing all their free ebooks in format which you will be able to read on your average mobile phone.
